Here we go again...

 Wednesday July 25th 2012                                      sunny

Today was the first day that all kids stay in Earthwatch campsite. In the morning we got up at 7:00 and had breakfast. The breakfast in the canteen was delicious, we had sausages, noodles, breads, cakes, and so on. Everybody had a good meal. After that we just meet in the classroom about 8:15. That was the start on our day work. Dr.Ben, the man, who had Black Framed Glasses on his nose just like me, gave us a lesson that talk about the preparation before we start our research of "climate change at Arctic's edge".
During the lesson, Dr.Ben ask a question that what we should bring with us when we work out side the wetland. And John the tallest guy in our team emphasis that we need water. Phil, a person who always keep calm and had many good idea, put forward that we need bug juice and sunscreen. Then Dr.Ben replenish that we also need camera, gloves and extra shell. After the lesson we just wait in the room for the other kids who just had their flight miss.
What leave a deep impression on me is that the process we made traps to catch the fishes in the wetland. We were divided into four groups. We have Dr.Phil, the man who did the research of frogs, Christian, the boy who came from Boston and loves football, and Evan, quite a nice guy, composed as a group to cut the plastic bottles and binding them up. And we had Emily, my biology teacher at school in china, Willow and Annie are two beautiful Chinese young ladies. They composed into a group that Cutting the plastic rote and fishing line. John, Phil and me just tie up the rope and fish line together. Dr. Phil, Dr. Ben and Nolan, a Boston handsome young man, they played an important part of our work, they just wash the plastic bottles. We worked the whole afternoon and everybody enjoy their works.
And after dinner, we just have an one hour lesson, listening the lecture about the research of  "climate change at Arctic's edge" I belief it must be an impressive day for all of us.
